Hawaii

Hawaii’s postcard fabled landscapes, dreamy beaches, and distinctive culture have captivated travelers not just here in the USA, but around the world. While Hawaii is an archipelago made of 137 islands eight of them are inhabited and visited by travelers. Each of the eight islands is completely different from one another offering black and green sand beaches, snowy peaks, cascading waterfalls, and lush tropical jungle. Hawaii is home to two of the world’s most active volcanoes, has 10 of the world’s 14 climate zones (making it one of the most ecologically diverse places on earth), and enjoys more ethnic diversity than any other state in the country.

Best  Time to Visit

Because Hawaii sits on the edge of a tropical climate zone, it has two main seasons. April to October is the summer or dry season, and November to March is technically the winter or rainy season. The great thing about the weather is the temperatures don’t vary too drastically year-round and even during the winter season, the rain is often intermittent and doesn’t generally fall for longer than a couple of days.

Highly Recommended Experiences:
  • There are few places on earth you can get close to an active volcano - Watch the earth steam and listen to it whistle at Volcanoes National Park on the Big Island

  •  Rent a car, bring your camera and take the ‘Road to Hana’ on Maui, hailed as one of the world’s most beautiful drives

  •  Go snorkeling with sea turtles, dolphins, and humuhumunukunukuapuaa (yes, that’s its real name!) off the coast of Maui in the Molokini Crater

  • Let us book you on an ocean cruise so you can island-hop, and experience Hawaii’s beautiful ports of call

  • Go ‘flightseeing’ over Kauai’s spectacular Nā Pali Coast State Park, the set for movies like Jurassic Park, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Avatar

  • Tour the home of Queen Lili'uokalani, the only royal palace in America - The palace is an exemplary example of Honolulu’s Renaissance architecture

Mexico

There are a thousand reasons why Mexico has been beloved by all for as far back as tourism in North America goes.

Mexico is an array of beauty, from the white sandy beaches, ancient Mayan ruins in the Mayan Riviera and Tulum peninsula, to the mountainous jungle and golden sand beaches and desert scapes of the Baja peninsula and the Pacific Coast. Mexico’s vibrant festivals, rhythmic culture, delicious cuisine, and rich historical past make it far more than a beautiful beach destination.

Highly Recommended Experiences:
  • Take a boat ride from Puerto Vallarta to the charming fishing village of Yelapa

  • Visit iconic Mayan Ruins: Chichén Itzá El Castillo, Chichen Itza, Palenque, and Ek' Balam are a great place to start

  • Swim in a cenote, a naturally formed sinkhole with pristine water and beautiful underwater rock formations in Tulum

  • Enjoy live mariachi music, watch artists create and enjoy a stroll along the Malecon in Puerto Vallarta

  • Go humpback whale watching off the coast of Los Cabos - the whales feed off the Baja Peninsula and give birth to their calves.

  • Go snorkeling in Cancun and explore the Musa Underwater Museum, one of the most unique underwater installations in the world

Best  Time to Visit

The best time to make your way to Mexico would be between the months of December and April. These would be considered the dry season, but you will get variations depending on where you are in the country. The coolest months, especially down the West Coast, are December and February, but you can still see pleasant temperatures.

the Caribbean Islands

From St. Lucia’s lush rainforest to Puerto Rico’s beautiful Old Town walls, to Jamaica’s vibrant island culture, the Caribbean is an eclectic collection of culture, food, music, and geographical gems. Whether you’re enjoying some island-hopping from the balcony of a premium cruise or we’re flying you in to enjoy a week or two in the sun, the most difficult thing about coming to the Caribbean is choosing the island or set of islands you want to experience first.

Highly Recommended Experiences:
  • Visit the historic Brimstone Hill Fortress in St. Kitts

  • Take a swim or enjoy an up-close encounter with gentle stingrays in Grand Cayman

  • Take an excursion to Falmouth and enjoy the best jerk chicken in Jamaica (possibly the world!)

  • Watch the planes take off and enjoy relative solitude with your loved one on Bonaire’s gorgeous Te Amo beach

  • Take one of the most picturesque hikes in the Caribbean in Pigeon Island National Park where you can enjoy views as far as Martinique

  • Stroll through Puerto Rico’s Old San Juan and round off your day with a rooftop daiquiri

Best  Time to Visit

The driest months and best time to experience the Caribbean would be between the months of December and April. Peak season generally coincides with the holidays back in the United States, so if you prefer fewer crowds, you may want to avoid December around Christmas, and March when it’s spring break.

June through to August is peak travel season, and it also happens to have the best weather and the longest days which can see anywhere from 16-24 hours of daylight. The cruising season for the larger ships begins in May, and the small ships and expedition trips can start as early as April.
